Francisco Sá Carneiro is one of the most awarded airports.

Porto Airport, Francisco Sá Carneiro, elected for the thirteenth time as the best airport in Europe, in 2019. Elected in the category of 15 to 25 million passengers, according to the Airport Service Quality Survey 2019 ranking of the Airport Council International (ACI).

“This award is an excellent distinction and international recognition for the work that the team at this airport has been doing in all the services we provide. The commitment that Airport workers apply daily is reflected in the quality of service that our passengers know and evaluate”, explains Fernando Vieira, director of Porto Airport, in a statement.

Elected for its high quality of service standards, considering the measurement of passenger satisfaction made by the Airport Service Quality Survey 2019.

“This award is particularly significant for us in a year when long distance traffic grew by 40% and total growth was 9.8%. The attractiveness of the region, the operational standards and the investments made have allowed Porto Airport to continue its sustainable growth, maintaining itself as a positive experience for passengers”, highlights the CEO of ANA – Aeroportos de Portugal – VINCI Airports, Thierry Ligonnière.

ANA, the company that manages Porto Airport, highlights that this award is the result of all the work that has been developed and shows that “Francisco Sá Carneiro is one of the most awarded airports, as it is the 13th prize in the last 14 years” .
