Every year in the evening of the 23rd of June the city of Oporto is invaded by thousands of people excited to participate in Saint John’s Festivities, the Patron Saint of the city. This is the city’s most important festival and is considered by several guides as one of the best parties in the world.

It was already announced the NOS Primavera Sound program, which will take part from 6 to 8 of June 2019 in the second biggest city of Portugal, in Oporto. The soul divas Solange and Erykah Badu, the colombian J Balvin, the Americans Interpol, James Blake and Stereolab, lead the 70 names that will act in the emblematic, Parque da Cidade.

Portugal’s first Summer Festival arrives in May by the river Douro! It’s the 3rd edition of the North Music Festival and will take place in Alfândega do Porto the 24-25th of May. As the name implies, the main attraction of this festival is music. And this a different festival organized with different types of music.

Alfândega do Porto, the old Porto customs building, hosts the exhibition “Banksy´s Dismaland and Others” by the British photographer Barry Cawston. The exhibition intends to take the public on a journey through the work of Banksy who for more than 25 years uses his art to question the values of society on themes such as war, child poverty and the environment.

The first Porto Food week kicks off the 21st of March and lasts until the 30th of March. Well this is a great opportunity to visit Porto and enjoy some of the best Porto Culinary experiences. After 3 very successful editions in Lisbon, the organization decided that it was time to honor Porto’s menu.
